Hi Kate,
Thankyou again for
delivery of the lovely Pashley Sonnet Bliss. Ev
loved the present and was really surprised - she
thought I had been a little stingy regarding
presents under the christmas tree. We have ridden
the bike a lot around Sydney already - including a
day trip from Erskineville to the top of Botany Bay
and then Cronulla - 49km I think. Ev reports that
the bike rolls along well and is a pleasure to ride.
People ask us about the bike, 'Where did we get it',
'is it really an antique?' 'did we have it shipped
out from England?' - its amazing that it really
raises interest in people just walking along.

Hi Kate
You serviced my Princess Sovereign
for me a couple of weeks back - I can't get over
the difference just that little tightening up of
everything has made. The bike is running so well
now, she's light and quick and agile and it's hard
to believe she weighs 20kg. I was wondering in the
weeks after I bought her whether I should have the
gears lowered to get up hills, as despite regular
riding I was still finding it a trial. Now, I'm
zooming up them. In fact I'm riding everywhere now
in at least a gear higher than I did before the
service. I'd happily recommend a Pashley to anyone
who's looking for a bike that's not the fastest on
the planet but the most enjoyable to ride. My
husband has a vintage road bike and if I get a
head start on him he has to pedal pretty fast to
catch up - once the Pashley gets going the
momentum carries her.

Just
to let you know I collected my bike from
Richmond today. The gentleman (?Peter) from
Abbotsford Cycles was great. He demonstrated
and explained the fantastic features of
this gorgeous Pashley bike. I set
"sail" from Richmond under the
watchful eye of my husband Nigel and my dog
Bobby who acted as my support team. I navigated
the inner city to the esplanade and on to beach
road. It took me about 50 minutes to get to my
home in East Brighton only because there was
quite a head wind....... I am so delighted with
this beautiful bike and I would like to thank
you so much for importing them to Australia.
My

Our Pashleys arrived yesterday and
by 6pm they were being ridden by two old farts
grinning from ear to ear.
Their quality and function was
much better than anticipated, and we are really
happy with them.
